Imagine being really present in the here-and-now\, free to be yourself and to experience joy instead of repetitive\, stressful patterns of interaction. \nIn this 2-day workshop\, Yehudit will guide us on an SOF journey of discovery from separation/isolation to genuine connection. Within a safe group setting\, we will learn ways to express what is often left unspoken by creating conditions for felt conversation\, fostering deep connection and healing. \nSOF skills for life expand our Focusing experience from intrapersonal to interpersonal\, teaching us how to be authentic with ourselves and each other while feeling grounded and safe. We will discuss this paper on our next July weekend and it is one of Gendlin’s most important papers\, taking Focusing into the realm of interaction and working with other people. Like our previous paper The Client’s Client\, this paper also is quite dense and really benefits from reading together and slowly digesting the text. This is part two but you don’t need to have attended part one first. \nThis group is designed to read the paper\, or parts of it\, together as a group in preparation for the weekend\, when we will discuss the paper in small groups. Veronica and Cathy will host the group and help facilitate the reading. Other teachers may also be present. \n   \n

Since the groups are so small\, lateness or not attending has a big effect on the others involved\, so if you need to cancel please email the teacher with as much notice as possible so that a replacement person can be found and the triad can go ahead.
