Reading Group ‘A Theory of Personality Change’ with Veronica and Cathy

This is a two hour group dedicated to reading deeply and slowly A Theory of Personality Change. We will discuss this paper on our next July weekend and it is one of Gendlin’s most important papers, taking Focusing into the realm of interaction and working with other people. Like our previous paper The Client’s Client, this paper also is quite dense and really benefits from reading together and slowly digesting the text. This is part two but you don’t need to have attended part one first.

This group is designed to read the paper, or parts of it, together as a group in preparation for the weekend, when we will discuss the paper in small groups. Veronica and Cathy will host the group and help facilitate the reading. Other teachers may also be present.
